#21 - Door Angels

Purpose:

To relieve tension in the upper back and throughout the shoulder blades. Helps with improving posture while preventing strain and stress on the muscles in the back.

Where to Feel it:

In your upper/mid back/shoulder blade area.

Description:

Keep head, buttocks and feet against wall throughout exercise. Maintain “Spinal Ready Position" (#104), if you have been instructed to do so. If not, then just keep your low back stable and your core engaged. With arms straight, hands rolled out to point thumb backwards, and finger-tips spread wide, keep pressing arms back as you lower and raise them slowly in an “angel" motion.
