#24 - Foot Supination with Band

Purpose:

To help decrease excessive pronation (inward roll of the foot). To relieve stress, tension, and pain in the arches of the feet. Decrease risk of further injuries by strengthening the muscles that supinate (roll outwards) the feet and lower limbs.

Where to Feel it:

In the arches of your feet, ankles, shins and calves.

Description:

  • Pull feet out for a 3-count.
  • Hold for a 3-count.
  • Let feet come in slowly for a count of 5.
  • Keep big toes down on the floor throughout the entire exercise.
  • Remember to always keep breathing!
