I have only good things to say about Dr. Ezgur and Progressive Chiropractic Wellness Center. I first went to Dr. Ezgur about 10 years ago with a sports related back injury. I had just accepted my pain as normal. After a few visits with Dr. Ezgur, I began to remember what being pain free was. I work in the fitness industry and I often push my body beyond what most would consider normal. Without the healing efforts of Progressive Chiropractic Wellness Center, I know I would have had to leave the world of fitness. They are up to date with the leading information and technology and they know how to heal joints and muscles quickly and effectively. In addition to normal wear and tear on the body, I have found them to be effective in treating accident related injuries as well, Last year, I was in a car accident. My neck and shoulder were a mess. However, thanks to the efforts of the team at Progressive, I am back to normal.

I think the office is friendly. The staff is so helpful and understanding. They work well with difficult schedules. They have free parking. Oh, one last thing, Dr. Ezgur also is great with homeopathy and acupuncture. If ever I feel a cold coming on, I go there first and get treated. That way I can usually avoid over the counter and or prescription medicines.

Overall – I highly recommend Progressive Chiropractic Wellness Center.

I had never been to a chiropractor before but decided to go because my neck and back were out of alignment due to work stress, causing much pain and limiting my mobility -- a week before the Chicago marathon. Dr. Ezgur and his assistant Meadow did an amazing job to get me back in shape to run 26.2 miles. Dr. Ezgur would make adjustments, and then he and his assistant taught me stretching and breathing exercises, gave me laser heat therapy, recommended homeopathic drops and lotions and gave me additional therapies to do at home. I was able to run the marathon without feeling any back or neck pain, so I'm very grateful for their expert treatment. I'll be honest, I was scared to go to a chiropractor, but I wouldn't hesitate to go if I needed treatment again. All the staff, including Chivette who worked the front desk, were very courteous, calm and attentive -- and very accomodating when patients needed to come in early or change their appointment with little notice.

I first came in to see Dr. Ezgur at Progressive Chiropractic Wellness Center Wellness Center several years ago. I had tried other chiropractors in Chicago but I never got more than short term pain relief, and was told that I needed to keep coming back for treatment. Dr. Ezgur does things very differently. Every time I’ve come in to see him for a sports injury, he’s always been able to figure out what’s causing my problem, and get me out of pain fairly quickly. The cold laser therapy and acupuncture have been especially effective for fast pain relief. They also provide physical therapy and teach me self-treatment techniques, which means that my treatment results last longer, and I don’t have to keep coming back.

I have also seen Dr. Ezgur for homeopathy. Because this has been so effective for a variety of health issues like colds & flu, Dr. Ezgur has now become my natural medicine doctor. Whenever I get sick, I give him a call and he can usually prescribe a homeopathic remedy that solves the problem. Since I’ve been seeing him, I have not needed antibiotics or other types of prescription or over the counter medicines nearly as much. The fact that this practice combines so many different types of treatments make it a “one-stop-shop" that I can trust for most of my healthcare needs.

Other things I like about the practice are the friendly, efficient office staff (Chivette & Meadow), the great massage therapists (Mark & Mara), free parking, and they run on time – I rarely have to wait to be seen.

I completely agree with the other posters that Dr. Ezgur is great: professional, patient, up-to-date with research, thorough in his assessment and so, so kind. And, yes. The office is gorgeous and smells nice!! I have seen him on several occasions through the years stemming from an injury a decade ago. I am happy to report that I no longer need to see him on a regular basis, although if I lived closer to his office, I would totally go for regular check-ups and maintenance. Everything was covered by my BCBS-PPO aside from homeopathy, but that is very reasonable. During my recovery, he mentioned that I might benefit from homeopathic care. I was a little skeptical that it could help but I was on board with the theory and gave it a try. I was floored that his initial evaluation was so comprehensive and he prescribed the appropriate remedy, one that began working within days. Here is the kicker: Because my commute was so far and I was struggling at home with a house full of babies, he set up bi-weekly phone consults where he would check in and we'd discuss my health, stresses, worries, etc. and make the appropriate adjustments to my dosage or suggest something different. My other favorite parts were the actual adjustments as well as the acupuncture sessions. The only downside is the commute from Oak Park. I would LOVE it if he would open a clinic in my village (hint, hint). Whenever someone asks me for a chiropractic recommendation, I do not hesitate to recommend Dr. Ezgur and his team at Progressive. Shout out to the massage therapists, office manager Chevette and also Brianna!!

The entire staff at Progressive Chiropractic Wellness Center Wellness center is great. Dr. Ezgur is my main chiropractor. In addition to chiropractic services, they offer massage (I highly recommend therapist Mara Nicandro), acupuncture, laser services and homeopathic medicine. They also have validated (aka free!!) valet parking!! An amazing bonus in the city. Chivette and Meadow work the front desk and are always there to help with billing, scheduling, and learning new exercises. Speaking of scheduling, they run on-time! On one occasion, Dr. Ezgur had to leave for an emergency while I was in my massage appointment so he was unable to see me. This was the only appointment I have ever had any sort of time issue with. He took the time to write me a hand-written apology note and saw to it that I was seen by Dr. Brune. All around, this is a great practice!

I recently moved to Chicago from Kansas City and was referred to Dr. Rick for acupuncture from a good friend. The office atmosphere was very relaxing and the staff was warm and welcoming. Chivette went out of her way to make sure all my insurance was filed properly and that I understood the scope of my coverage. After 3 sessions of acupuncture, the chronic shoulder pain I had been experiencing for several years was finally reduced to a very tolerable level. He also set me up with a personalized homeopathic remedy plan - I was very pleased!
