#72 - Sternocleidomastoid PIR

Purpose:

To stretch/relax the SCM (Sternocleidomastoid muscle). Reduces trigger points, pain, headaches and/or dizziness.

Where to Feel it:

Gentle stretch in the upper/front part of your neck.

Description:

Turn your head to one side and let it hang supported by the edge of the bed. On the inhale (5-10 seconds), barely lift head off the bed, while looking up towards your chest. On the exhale (5-10 seconds), let your head relax and hang down with gravity, while looking backwards and down to floor.

Tip:

Remember to always keep breathing!
